Alessandro Sartori signs the new Zegna collection summer 2019

Ermenegildo Zegna’s  S/S 2019 fashion show opens the “Men’s Fashion Week in Milan”  in the park of one of the most beautiful building,  the  Mondadori headquarters in Segrate, designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1968.

A silver and mirror catwalk runs over water , a collection with a pervading sense of lightness called by the Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori “ Weightlessness”  . A contemporary metropolitan wardrobe, sporty with the refinement and attention to details of couture tailoring, sophisticated and tech fabrics, waterproof cashmere, silk and cotton, cotton and satin linen meshes.

The silhouettes are capacious and airy , deconstructed oversize fit  jackets, bombers and anoraks matched  with high-waisted double pleat trousers,   parkas both long and short, coulisse trousers, a combination of net textiles , graphic elements, degradè checks, pastel tones , shiny and stretch nylon over knitwear.

Cobalt, red,  pale blue, white,  pink, bow green, desert, sunflower yellow, mocha, nautical blue ,loganberry red, blue navy and grey  is the colour palette which features the outfits.

Sneakers and sandals marry opanka constructions with the technical details and meshes of sport style, all of it on bold soles.
