Burberry Womenswear S/S 2016 – Fashion Show

London: a great fashion show in Kensington Gardens for the new collection Burberry Spring / Summer  2016. A fantastic parade accompanied by a performance of the romantic singer of the 1980’s, Alison Moyet with a live orchestra of 32 pieces, played her greatest hits.

Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, is pointing to a wider audience: with the technology support and creating a new style which mixes the luxury of Burberry Prorsum and the wider-reaching style of Burberry Brit.

Thanks to a partnership with Snapchat they showed the collection to 100 millions of users, the day before of official presentation, during the final adjustment stage, and then a live streaming on most important social networks.

Many special guests was present to the show, among which the Burberry’s testimonials: Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse and Jourdan Dunn, in addition to Sienna Miller, Paloma Faith and Benedict Cumberbatch.

A young and carefree collection, titled FUNCTIONREGALIA, dedicated to modern urbanites: dark tailored coats, illuminated with the golden buttons and gilded decorations, charming dresses with languid trench coat nonchalantly thrown over. Noteworthy the preciosity of fabrics.
