Seductive and romantic, Fausto Puglisi woman collection S/S 2016

Difficult to identify a single inspiration for the new collection Fausto Puglisi Spring/Summer 2016: seductive and provocative yet romantic.

Starting from his native, from Sicily, we can recognize in the applications of iridescent shells, the marble inlays of the baroque churches in Palermo. The dresses are invaded by shells, almost to turn them into armor.

Characteristic games drapes on mini and long dress, blouses and skirts, all in fluid fabrics and shiny, to point out the romantic side of the collection.

Madame Grès creations, the queen of haute couture in Paris, have most influenced the Sicilian designer, together with the timeless icons of Hollywood: loose clothing, the slits and backs uncovered, to celebrate female sensuality.

You can also identify rock influence, particularly on outfits with leather inserts.

The antiquity is a theme which recurs often, and is visible not only on dresses but also on applications, prints and accessories.

The tops are micro, while jackets are very long, almost to become a mini dress.

The colors are bright, yellow, lilac, pink, turquoise, green, purple and red, in addition the timeless black and white.

The fabrics are refined, silk, satin and chiffon, a must for the leather inserts and outerwear.
