“SIMPLICITY IS THE ULTIMATE FORM OF SOPHISTICATION”: Chicca Lualdi collection S/S 2016
Milan fashion week started with the designer Chicca Lualdi. The new talent of Italian fashion presented the new collection for next summer, as always distinguished by a sophisticated simplicity.
“Style is a simple way of saying complicated things”: the literary quote of poet and French director, Jean Cocteau, is the inspiration of collection.
A joke of femininity and elegance, with understated personality, representing also a lifestyle, which aim to the human essence and not to appear.
A collection which refuses the luxury, without compromise on quality, to express uniqueness and a new thoughtful creativity, which want to be different from modern fashion, too often over the top.
With the designer Giò Ponti, they created a sporty-chic style, portrayed by a balance of elements and details, made by graphics and patterns, play of colors, embroidery and applications.
The dresses resound the Courreges of ’60, with cuttings and silhouettes well defined, and use a modern mix of fabrics: Jacquard of silk and cotton, fil coupe of organza and cotton, linen and chiffon, games of knitting and processed yarn.
Collection’s colors: blue navy, yellow, pink poudre, coral and white.
As accessories the sneakers are noteworthy, with the particular inserts in leather and suede.
